Kufri Trek yup there is another kufri in Kullu Manali is the best camping spot in kullu Valley yet Virgin . Besides all the popular trek's of Kullu-Manali the Kufri trek is unique in its own way the trek begins from Raison just 14 km from kullu Town we take a cab or we can wallk to jalora village from where trek officially begins we follow the path of local route making our way crossing the green forest of pine cone trees to the empty Grass Meadows at kufri there is a small House owned by my Negi's of Raison as you can see in above image.
When is The Best time to Visit Kufri ?
Kufri trek is shortest trek in kullu manali valley of Himachal Pradesh remains opened for all year from Jan to Dec .In winter season from Oct to Feb the trails is packed with snow upto 5Ft and makes the trail harder to hike but the view in winter is amazing as you would not want to leave this place . No city polution no traffic this place is the perfect getaway location for camping and weekend trips .During summer season from April to Aug trail is easy to hike with greenary all over the place lush green meadows that you would miss in winter season so both season offers different view and experience of kufri . although if you are a camping lover wanna spend night in jungle with Bonfire summer time from april to Aug might be best time for you to visit this Unexplored trek of kullu manali
Ting-Ting Pathar At Kufri
Just one hour hike from kufri there is place called Tin Tin Pathar where big rocks lying in meadows that resonate like a bell when struck with each other . Local's named this place as Tin Tin Pathar beacause if you struck these rocks with each other it makes the metal sound .
According to the organizer of the climbing expedition, an Indian climber who disappeared on April 17 has been found and rescued from a crevasse where he had fallen 5,600 meters above sea level in Annapurna. The climber was located 300 meters beneath the surface.Read
A renowned irish climber Noel Hanna passed away on Mt Annapurna. He was a very experienced climber who had summited Mt Everest ten times before. Noel Hanna had just returned from the summit point when he passed away at Camp IV. It is not clear what caused his death.Read
According to The Himalayan Times Anurag Maloo from India was descending from Camp 3 when an accident took place. He had given up his goal to reach the summit at Camp 4 and was heading back to Base Camp. His outfitter, Seven Summit Trek's, reported the incident and an aerial search is currently being conducted.Read
Pasang Lama Sherpa, also known as Lama Seru, was recently mourned by Sherpas on social media for his passing. Lama Seru, a well-known figure on the trails of the Khumbu Valley, had never reached the summit of Mount Everest, yet he remained a crucial and often unrecognized hero of the area. For many years, he generously volunteered his time to repair, maintain, and expand the local trails. According to expedition organizers, at least 54 climbers successfully reached the summit of Annapurna (8,091m), making it the first ascent of the season. Sajid Ali Sadpara, who is the son of the renowned Pakistani mountaineer Mohammad Ali Sadpara, also achieved a successful summit of the peak without using supplemental oxygen, as reported by his expedition organizer, Seven Summit Treks.Read
